Julius Caesar: Act 1, Scene 3

We read Act 1, scene 3 today. Click here to access the No Fear Shakespeare for this scene.

Major points to remember:

  • There is a giant storm with thunder and lightning.
  • The conspirators see many strange sights, and they think these strange things are a sign that a great evil is coming. They think this great evil = Julius Caesar.
  • Cassius' evil plan (from scene 2) is continued; he assigns a fellow conspirator to deliver all the letters to places where Brutus will find them.
