Just a reminder that we moved the Vocabulary Quiz for Unit 10 and the first Illustrated Man quiz to Monday. Both quizzes are short and I do not anticipate any difficulty in getting them done with time to spare.

For the vocabulary quiz:

• Study the words, definitions, and synonyms. Remember that emanations is plural, and aura is singular

For the Illustrated Man quiz:

• The quiz includes questions from "The Veldt" and "Kaleidoscope." Click here to (re)read the stories. Remember that it is your job to check the calendar if you are absent.

• Be able to apply the Sci Fi notes to the stories we read. As you look at the Science Fiction notes, ask yourself:
• Which of these themes are in "The Veldt" and "Kaleidoscope"?
• Which common science fiction plot elements exist in these stories?
• Which common science fiction conflicts exist in these stories?
