EOC Review: Essay Review

Here are the essay notes from today. The rectangle and the hourglass should form the "shape" of your essay. Start broad, then give details and examples, then broaden it back out.

Today, we discussed the above image, which includes options for your persuasive conclusion. You have several options, and today we discussed how to use emotive language in your conclusion.

Emotive language is language that attempts to have an emotional impact on the audience. (In this case, that's the person who is going to read your paper.) Emotive language can be positive or negative.
