Final Exams and Review Materials

Teachers can run exemption reports on Friday, May 23. Exemption cards are due this Friday, May 30. I will sign exemption cards on Thursday, May 29. The exemption report tells me how many absences you have. I will not be ready to sign exemption cards until some time next week; I have to finish grades first. All levels of English II have two hours to complete the exam. Unless you have special paperwork on file, you will not be given extra time.

For On-Level, the final exam will include 60 multiple choice items, including:

• Vocabulary words - These are the words on the final exam
• Questions about reading nonfiction, persuasion, the rhetorical triangle, etc. (review paper handed out in class)
• Reading and multiple choice questions to go with that reading. 

For K and H, the final exam will include:

• Vocabulary words - K/H Vocab Review
• An essay based on a tone analysis (2 page limit) - Here are some tone notes
