Somebody requested that I post the reassessment policies online, just for future reference:
Please keep in mind that we didn't invent the concept of reassessment just to get on your nerves. I promise. The basic idea is that you are allowed to reassess (or resubmit) assignments to show evidence of additional mastery and therefore improve your grade. BRILLIANT. Wish they had this when I was in your seat.
- Reading check quizzes cannot be reassessed. You are expected to read the assigned reading on time.
- You must have turned in the original assessment in order to reassess it.
- You have three days from the day I return graded work to come in for tutoring and reassess or resubmit the work.
- No reassessments will take place in class.
- No reassessments the last week of a grading period.
- Students must attend tutoring or show tangible evidence of additional studying or learning in order to reassess.
